About Us

Annie & Em's Bakeshop is proud to offer gluten-free, freshly-baked snacks and sweet treats. Founded by two sisters who grew up in New Jersey, with a serious sweet tooth and a big dream, the brand's mission is to always provide premium gluten-free creations that never compromise on taste or quality. In addition to all of our products always being gluten-free, a selection of vegan and dairy-free items are featured as well.

In August 2018, Annie & Em’s Bakeshop started selling sweet treats at farmers’ and makers’ markets throughout Monmouth and Mercer Counties, and through custom orders. After two years, the Hoboken-based sisters decided to establish their first brick-and-mortar home right here in the Mile Square at 155 Third St.

As of June 2023, Annie & Em’s Bakeshop began  operating under a new model that focuses solely on our Pre-Ordering, Catering, Custom Celebration Cake, Shipping and Wholesale offerings. For more information visit out FAQ page.
